Contrary to earlier rumors, the release of The Acolyte Episode 1 has not been delayed. However, the series will adopt a new release time of 6:00 AM PT / 9:00 AM ET every Friday.
Premiere Date and Episode Count
The Acolyte will launch with a two-episode premiere on Tuesday, June 4 in the US and other regions. The series will explore a unique era in Star Wars history.
Production Update
The Acolyte is currently filming in London and is expected to wrap in May ahead of its 2024 release on Disney Plus. The series will feature an investigation into a shocking crime spree that pits a Jedi Master against a dangerous adversary.
